Celebrate 365....check it out!

I just got a sneak peek at the back cover of the Halloween edition of Celebrate 365 magazine! I am thrilled to be one of the featured artists on the back cover...pretty darn cool! My spooky owl SnipPet is up in the right corner. I will be listing him in my Etsy shop soon. Many thanks to Connie Porcher for this lovely honor! AND many thanks to Suzanne Urban, the wonderful AHA leader, who urged all of us to submit our Halloween and Holiday creations to Connie.

I LOVE Lori Rudolph's fabulous graphics on the front and cover! You should definitely visit her blog and see more of her wonderful artwork.

I can't believe that Halloween is only a month away!!! I've got to get crankin' on some new spooks AND think about a creative costume for the big day. I think we might actually have a party to go to this year. Yahoooo!

As for kitty news, my 4 foster kittens are now ready for adoption. Here we go again! The past 5 weeks have flown by. I can't believe that it is already time for them to leave the nest. I can feel the tears coming on already, but I have high hopes that some loving adoptive parents will come along soon. The kittens are definitely keeping me on my toes. They have figured out how to get up on my art table and love to knock over my paints, steal my paintbrushes and rustle around in my shipping materials. Never a dull moment! Suki has chewed the thumb off of one of my WIPs twice already...eeeks!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Many purrs and warm hugs to all~~

Bonjour Carrie! I was so happy to hear from you! I have been checking your blog regularly but had no time to stop by to leave comments the past couple of months with the darn slooooooo internet connection I have. You art is absolutely FABULOUS, you amaze me! Congrats on being one of the featured artists on the back cover! I have a story just for you that you will love hearing about. My brother in law is a well known doctor in the US and he gives lectures all around the world. He was in the Bahamas a month ago and met an older retired doctor who spends half of the year on the islands. He loooooves animal and had been having a bad time getting used to the number of abandoned, skinny, sick and homeless cat. He is a guy with money. So, one day, he decided to do a bit of something about it. He and other people trapped as many cats as they could, total 85. Believe it or not, the doctor rented a plane and took everyone of these felines on board, direction USA! Once they went through quarantine, he had each one spayed then released on his big rancho in Texas. I do not know details about what else he does for cats but I know that he is involved with taking care of feral cats here in America as well. Amazing, isn't it? Keep up with your amazing art and your love of miaou friends! Hugs, LuLu

Hi Carrie...How cool is that! Congratulations on your "cover cutie". I've not had much of an opportunity to get around blogland since we were "found" by our two new family members. If you get a chance, stop by and see them. Although they aren't cats, they are still adorable and loving.
