Wednesday SnipPet Giveaway!

Is your pet a SnipPet??? If he or she has been spayed or neutered, then yes, your pet is a SnipPet! Every pet should be snipped. It is the only way that the pet overpopulation crisis will ever come to an end. I can't tell you how many desperate emails i get every day begging people to come rescue healthy, adoptable cats and dogs in shelters. There just aren't enough homes for all of them. We must start at the root of the problem and stop zillions of kittens and puppies from being born every year.

In honor of Spay Day USA, I am giving away one of my SnipPet plush dolls. All you have to do is comment on this blog entry and let me know that your pet has been snipped. The winner can choose either the cat (Sunny SnipPet) or the dog (Stuart SnipPet) version. I will pull a name from the hat next Wednesday, March 4 at Noon. Spaying and neutering is the kindest cut of all!!! See, Stuart and Sunny have been snipped...they have the stitch mark and hearts to prove it :).

My big boy is a SnipPet. He chose us when we visited the local animal shelter, and it has been true love ever since.
I wish that everyone found to own an animal that is not a SnipPet could be forced to do community service hours in an animal shelter (that is not no-kill) so that they could see the impact of unaltered pets.
Great giveaway, great dolls, great cause.

This is an extremely important thing and I commend you on promoting spay and neutering of pets.

Yep my dog is snipped. I was a vet tech so I know the importance of spay and neutering your pet.

I also had to put down my fair share of unwanted pets. Yes I had to euthanize the cutest puppies and kittens. It was aweful... I was so angry at the people that just let their animals breed.

PLEASE spay and neuter your pets!

What an excellent idea! Your plushies are so cute and a great tool to promote a wonderful cause!

Our shelter pup Millie is a SnipPet and our newest addition, Libby has her appointment with the vet. She'll be going in 2 weeks :)

All of my pets are SnipPets. I have always had my pets snipped at the earliest age a vet will "snip." I am also an advocate for having pets immunized and keeping those shots current. If you ever saw a dog with parvo it would break your heart. Get those shots and keep them current. My email addy isn't in this comment. I've been getting hit hard with spam every since the OWOH giveaway and leaving me email addy in the comments. So sorry.

I currently have five snipped cats. My mother has four snipped cats and a snipped dog. My brother has probably about five cats, and my dad probably has three dogs and a couple of cats-- all snipped! We are all big believers in spay/neuter!

Both of our poodies are snipped, much as I would have loved to have kittens of our own it seemed unfair to put our little girl through that just for us. Our little doggie isnt snipped as she has a serious medical condition and we just didnt want to put her through the operation but we dont take her out when she is in season. Its a shame vets cannot do snips for free to encourage owners to get it done. Lovely giveaway so sweet. Jane xx

My babies have all been snipped. All 8 of them, 7 lovely kitties and one crazy dog. This is the first thing that we did when we rescued them.

We try to educate all of our friends about pet overpopulation.

The SnipPets are adorable!

I'm a firm believer in altering our pets. I have never had a pet that I haven't had altered. Oh, I have to take that back, the fish aren't altered but they don't seem to breed outside their family tree. We are currently owned by 2 cats and 3 dogs - all snipped.
Thanks for what you do.

So cute!! and clever...
YES all of our pets are spayed (except the guinea pigs because they are both females and are not free range) We agree that is is so important to help control the pet population and take loving care of our fur babies.

Hi! Our 2 kitties & dog are all SnipPets as well as all of my extended family's pets! What a great thing you're doing promoting this issue! I too am a huge advocate of spaying & neutering & have done my share of spay-neuter-release jobs & rescuing strays. I'm proud to say we have a new low-cost spay/neuter clinic here in Wichita now & a new multi-million animal shelter opening in June! Woohoo!
Love your adorable sculptures! So glad I found your blog! Happy Friday! ~ Jill
