Three Peas in a Pod and STJ WIPs

I feel like i have been a blogging slacker lately!!! I was on a roll for awhile and then a few things slowed me down. I have had really awful lower back pain for a few weeks now and it was truly killing me last week. I have realized that it is being caused by the way i have been sitting at my art desk, so I am making changes to that as well as my workouts...more core and strength training and less cycling. In addition, my foster kittens had a terrible virus and then they all had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics! Eeks, it was all a bit scary for awhile, but thankfully, they are feeling fabulous now and back to their kitten antics. I snapped a super sweet shot of Miss Odette aka Troll Girl this morning. How cute and fuzzy is she?

Here are my WIPs for the upcoming Spookytime Jingles update! I decided to do some smaller pieces this month...frog and cat wizard busts and frog and cat ornaments/necklaces. I started painting them this morning...i am thinking lots of orange, black and white dots and stripes...my favorite!

...and a silly little ditty that I completed last week....my version of three peas in a pod! For some reason, i was itching to do this piece and frog heads seemed like the perfect snippet twist to the "peas" part. This ornament is up for grabs in my etsy shop.

Hey Pattee!
We have 6 of our own, and then the revolving door of foster cats and kittens that we rescue and find homes for. It's amazing that we only have 6 because i could keep them all :)!

So glad to hear the foster kittens are doing well now. That had to be so scary!!
Miss Odette is a little doll baby!!

I'd like to have a 1/4 of your creativity!! You are awesome!

Sending you healing vibes. Hope your back feels better soon!

P.S. We also have 6 kitties of our own and also a revolving door of fosters! I've gotten better though. Three of our cats began as fosters!

I would love to foster, but I can't let them go!!! I already have 5 and want an orange ginger like little Miss Odette!

I love the idea with the Halloween goodies, and the necklaces would be awesome!!!

I'm like Suzi & would love to foster but I know I'd get too attached & want to keep them all! My next door neighbor is fostering 2 kittens now though & she's out of town for the week so I get to babysit! Your Odette is adorable. I've always wanted a ginger tabby too! Someday...

Hope your little kitties and back keep improving. Like others have said, I would find it hard to let go of those little darlings. But then I suppose if you had kept all your foster cats you would not be able to move in your house it would be like wall to wall cat carpet! The world needs more people like you who give up so much time and love to cats. Your work as ever is amazing love it all!! Jane xx

Miss Odette is a sweetheart. She is so cute. I hope your back is feeling better, soon. Poor kitties. I bet that was a nightmare. Glad it is over.
