Experimenting with more wedding cake toppers...

I am really loving my adventures with wedding cake toppers! It's just so fun to have a little part in a couple's special day. I can't imagine the pressure of being a wedding coordinator (yikes!), but being able to create a lovely piece of art to add some whimsy to the wedding is wonderful. I get to hear sentimental stories about the bride and groom, their engagement and their love story. I am a hopeless romantic, sooooo...it's right up my alley.

I decided to experiment with lovebird cake toppers. I wanted to put them on beribboned dowels, so that it would look like they were floating/flying above the top tier of the cake. I love the ribbon tendrils hanging down. I am anxious to create several versions of these in various color schemes, but I started with blue and a metallic champagne color. Hearts are a-flutter!

These are so delightful Carrie! I love the top pair especially, but both sets are sure to be a hit for any wedding cake!

hi Carrie-
These cake toppers are a fantastic idea...are you going to the ACC show? If so, these would sell really well there. Great job!!
